Ghent University has enjoyed a long tradition of welcoming South African exchange and degree students. The university's International Relations Office, in collaboration with the Africa Platform, plans to launch a South African Alumni Chapter later this year, in order to build up a network to strengthen existing relations and cooperation.

The university therefore calls on all past Ghent University students in South Africa who would like to be part of the Alumni Chapter to contact the International Relations Office, mrs Carole Picavet, at carole.picavet@ugent.be.
